George was married to Jane M. "Jinnie" Roark on March 4, 1828 in Hall County, GA. They are both buried in the Antioch Methodist Church in Hall County. George was born on Jan. 1, 1801 and died Jan. 8, 1861. Jinnie was born Feb. 29, 1812, the daughter of Page Roark and his wife whose first name is not known but was a daughter of Isham Kendrick and Elizabeth Duncan Kendrick of Spartenburg, SC. Estate records,in Spartenburg, SC, of Isham Kendrick name his daughter as the wife of Page Roark. Elizabeth Duncan Kendrick lived with her grandchildren in Cherokee Co., GA when she died in about 1853. Genealogical information added by Carolyn Golowka, .
