Will and Probate of Jones Roark Estate Hall County, GA The Last Will and Testament of Jones Washington Roark as recorded in the Ordinary Office, Hall Co., GA, Book #., pages 239 to 242 Georgia, Hall County In the name of God Amen. I, Jones W. Roark, of the county and state aforesaid being weak in body but sound in mind being desirous of disposing of my property by will do make, publish, and declare this my last will and testament - hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. Item 1st - I desire and direct that my body be buried in a plain decent & Christian like manner suited to my circumstances in life my soul, I trust, return to God who gave it. Item 2nd - I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid by my executrix hereinafter named, the money to be raised out of such personal property as can be best spared. Item 3rd - I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Elizabeth M. Roark, during her natural life my house place being lot of land number sixty in the tenth district of Hall County containing two hundred and fifty acres, more or less, to be by her for the purpose contained in this Item, my personal property of every description after paying my just debts, whether horses, cattle, sheep hogs, corn, fodder, wheat, oats, notes, accounts, or any other kind of property or claim. I give to my said wife during her natural life also the product and income of my said farm all for her a respectable support and for the support and education of my children until they arrive at the age of twenty one with (unreadable) to dispose of the products and income of the land or any of the other personal property for the purposes named in this Item if need be, and at her death my land to be sold in such manner as may be best for the estate. Also all the personal property not disposed of by her for the purposes named in this Item and the money equally divided between my children and representatives of children. Should any of them be dead, the representatives of children standing in the place of the parent they accounting for what they may have received from me or my wife after my death, and should my wife depart this life before the youngest child living shall arrive at the age of twenty one years, then I desire and direct that the income and product of the land and as much of the personal property, as may be necessary, shall be used for the support and education of the minor children so thus all shall be equal and where the youngest child arrives at the age of twenty one years, then my whole estate, real and personal, to be dispersed of as directed in this Item, upon the death of my wife. I wish my whole will to be taken together in ascertaining my wishes, and no child to account for anything received for her or her support and education in the branches of a common English education until they arrive at the age of twenty one years, except my son, Melville P. Roark who is to have board for one year and tuition for that time out of my estate. Item 4th - I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife, Elizabeth M. Roark, my executrix to this my last will and testament, and I further desire that my said executrix be not required to make and return any inventory to the Court of Ordinary or annual returns to the same. Roark, John A. Roark, William J. Roark, George R. Roark, Mary Roark, and Emma F. Roark minor heirs and legatees of said deceased. It is therefore ordered by the Court that Melville P. Roark be and he is hereby appointed Guardian Ad Litem for the said Sarah M. Roark, John A. Roark, William J. Roark, George R. Roark, Augustus W. Roark, Virgil Roark and Mary W. Roark and Emma F.
