Mcdonald Written: January 30, 1849 In the name of God Amen, I William Wilson being very weak in body, but of sound and disposing memory, calling to mind the mortality of the body, that it is ordained of God that all men must die I therefore make this my last Will and testament in the manner and form following. I wish my body to be decently bried Item 1st.-----I wish my just debts to be paid. Item 2nd----- I give and bequeath to my Son John H. Wilson One Sorrel Horse one Saddle and bridle, One Cow and Calf one Broood Sow and pigs One brood Ewe and lamb, one Bed and Clothing for bed which he has not got in his possession, also the fourth part of a lot of land whereon the said John H. now lives on flat Creek known and distinguished by Lot no. fourteen (14). Item 3rd----- I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas S. Wilson One Black Mare one Saddle and bridle One Cow and calf One Brood Sow and pigs One Ewe and lamb One Bed and bed clothing which the said Thomas S. has already got in his possission. Also One fourth part of a lot of land on flat Creek whereon John H. Wilson now lives Known by No. fourteen (14). Item 4th----- I give and bequeath to my son Washington G. Wilson One Sorrel Horse One Saddle and bridle One Bed and bedclothing which he has already got in his possession as to the other stock of the same likeness that th eother Sons had given to them I omit giving to him because I have given him Money to the worth of them also the fourth part of a lot of land on flat Creek the place whereon John H. Wilson now lives Known by No. fourteen (14) Item 5th----- I give and bequeath to my Son wiley t. Wilson one Cow and Calf one Sow and pigs which he has now in his possission. Also One Saddle and bridle which he has in his possession-----Also one horse like unto the horses given to the other Sons, and one brood Ewe and lamb, and one Bed and bed clothing which he has not yet been put into his possession. Also one fourth part of a lot of land on flat Creek the place whereon John H. Wilson now lives known by No. fourteen (14) Item 6th----- I have given my Son Richard T. Wilson liveral Ed ucation and one sorrel horse and set him free at the age of Nineteen years of age agreeable to his own proposals instead of giving him the like property that I gave to my other sons. Item 7th----- I give and bequeath to my son William A. Wilson conditionally that is to say if he will say with his Mother, and serve her as he has served me heretofore until he arrives to the age of twenty one years the same amount of property that the other Sons had given to them that is to say One Horse One Saddle and bridle One Cow and Calf One Brood Sow and pigs, one Ewe and lamb, One Bed and bed clothing----- Also One half of a piece of land which is supposed to contain One Hundred and twenty acres of which I purchased One Hundred acres of George B. Clemons the other remnant is to commence at the edge of the Wet land near the hotpen on the Wolf branch then down the Wolf branch as near it as to include the dryland near to the fork of the othe rcree thence, up the main Creek so as to include the dryland on the East side of the crek to the original line of the said lot----- Item 8th-----I give and bequesath to my Son Benjamin F. Wilson conditionally that is to say if he does stay with his mother and serve her until he arrives to the age of twenty one years of age the same like property that the other Sons had given to them, that is to say One Horse One Saddle and Bridle one Cow and Calf one Brood Sow and pigs, one Brood Ewe and lamb, one Bed and Bed clothing. Also about Sixty Acres of land more or less that is to say that it is the other half of the same place that my Son William A. hass allotted to him----- Item 9----- I give and bequeath to my dear wife Rachel Wilson and my daughter Narcissa Wilson One Hundred acres of land more or less it being the place whereon they now live to have and to hold in during the natural life of my Wife and at the death of my Wife I want her part of the said land to go and belong to my grand Son William C. Dawson the Son of my daughter Narcissa the balance of my property which I have not yet named I want to remain on the place for the purpose of raising and support of the family, in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand an dSeal this thirtyeth day of January 1849 the words one Sorrel horse was interlined befor ethe will was assigned.
