This file was contributed by: Cline Averett averett@innova.net ==================================================================== Deed: John Averett to John Latimer (104.9 Acres) This indenture made the 26th of Jany in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten and in the thirty fourth year of American Independence between John Averrett of the County of Hancock and State of Georgia of the one part and John Latimer of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said John Averett for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and twenty five dollars to him in hand paid by the said John Latimer the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said John Latimer and his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county aforesaid and bounded as follows to wit beginning at a pine X thence running Northwest and bounded by vacant land to a ma__ X on Parkers line thence with said John Parkers line Northeast to a pine X on the Bigg survey Thence with the Bigg survey Southeast to a Black Jack X on Castleberry's line thence with said Castleberry's line the beginning containing one hundred and four and nine tenths acres it being a part of the big survey which was granted to Beckom to have and to hold the sai9d bargained premises unto the said John Latimer and heirs and assigns and the said John Averett for himself his heirs assigns and all and every other person or persons whatsoever doth warrant and forever defend the right title or claim of the of the [repeated] aforesaid land with all and singular the premises and appurtances thereto rents issues and profits thereof in fee simple unto the said John Latimer and their heirs forever in witness wherefore I have set my hand and seal the day and date above written.
