All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Linda Deppner http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00012.html#0002870 June 19, 2007, 11:57 pm Written: June 4, 1801 Recorded: May 10, 1802 Hancock County, Georgia Deed Book F, pages 87-88 This Indenture made the forth [sic] day of Jun in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and one, between Ishum Huckebee of the State of Georgia and County of Hancocke of the one part and Elizebeth Cannon of the sam[e] State and County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Ishom Huckebee for & in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the said Elizbeth Cannon at or before the Signing and delivery of this presents the Recept wherof is herby acknowledged have bargained Sold released Confirmed [and] by these presents do bargain Sell Releace and Confourm unto the said Elizbeth Cannon her hers and assigns forever a Cartan Trake or parcel of Land Containging forty Acres Stuate lying and being in the county of Hancok on Turkey Creek bounded by Walk, Woods and Hornings land beginning at a Stake Corner on Turkey Creek Runing Thence N. 15 degrees East and eight link to Turkey Oack Corner Thence N. 25 Chanes to a pine Corner Thence N. 30 W. 33 Chans 60 linkes to a pine Corner Thence S. 25 W. 12 Chanes to a Black Jack Corner Thence S. 69 E. 8 chanes 50 linkes to a Stake Corner Thence S. 11 E. 18 Chaine 63 Linkes to a pine Corners on the sd. Creek Thence downs the mender of sd. Creek to the begening the some being part of a Track of land originally Granted John Newnham together with all and Singular the Rights members and appertanances thereunto beloning or in any wise appertaining to the onely aces benefit and behoof of hour [should be “her”] the said Elizebath Cannon hour heirs and assigns. To have and to hold forever, and the said Isham Huckebee doth for himself his Heirs and the said Track of land and premes shall and will Warrant and foreve defend by these presents frome the just claim of himself his Heires and from all and every other person or persons Whatsoever. In Witness whereof the said Isham Huckebee hath herunto Set his hand and Seal the day and yeare first above Written.
