This file was contributed by: Cline Averett averett@innova.net ==================================================================== Georgia Hancock County This indenture made this the twenty sixth day of December, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty five between Josiah Dickson, of the State aforesaid and the county of Bibb of the one part and Albritte Averett and wife Mary Avritt of the state and county aba {above} named of the other part, witnesseth that the said Josiah Dickson for, and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and seventy eight dollars and seventy five cents to him in hand paid, at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents, of the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said Albritt Averitt and Mary Averitt, their heirs and assigns and all that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the county and state aforesaid bounded on the waters of little Ogeechee, adjoining West Vinson and others containing two hundred & twenty acres more or less. - To have and to hold the above granted premises, to the said Albritt Averitt & Mary Averitt, their heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtances thereunto, belonging to the same in any manner belonging to this and their own proper use, benefit and behoof? forever, in fee simple -------And the said Josiah Dickson, for him self, his heirs, executors and administrators, the said bargained premises, unto the said Albritt Averitt and Mary Averitt l their heirs, and will forever renounce and quit claim unto the said premises forever.
