This Indenture made the twenty fifth of May 1807 between Frances Griffis (or 
Griffin) of the County of Hancock and State of Georgia of the one part and Drury 
Dunn of the County and State aforesaid of the other part.  Witnesseth(?) that 
the said Francis Griffis/Griffin of the County and State aforesaid .........for 
and in consideration of the sum of  twenty five dollars to him in hand 
.............the receipt whereof is hearby acknowledged,.............
And I the said Drury Dun has herewith set my hand and affixed my seal, the day 
and date first above.........

Signed and delivered in presents of us

		       his mark}
