Georgia	               ]   This Indenture made this twenty seventh day of
December, One Thousand eight hundred and Hancock County   ]   Four between Hines
Holt and Polly Dixon his wife, of the one part and Henry Colquette of the other
part all of the county and state aforesaid.  Witnesseth that the said Hines Holt
for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred and fifty dollars, to him in
hand paid before the Sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged Have bargained, sold, aliened and confirmed and doth by
these presents, bargain, sell, alien ,--------and confirm unto the said Henry
Colquette, his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying
and being in the county aforesaid on the waters of the Beaverdam of Ogeohee. 
Containing by estimation one hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less. 
Butting and bounding on land sold by Bolling Hall to James Lucas, and lands of
Joseph Barksdale, John Lloyd, and lands of the heirs of Holland Middleton (now
by purchase the land of the said James Lucas)  Together with all and singular,
the rights, members, and appurtenances  there unto belonging or in anywise
appertaining .  And moreover the one half or purchase of the Spring adjacent to
the dwelling house of the said Lucas and Colquette, as reserved and set apart
for the said land and premises, by a Deed of bargain and sale from Bolling Hall
to James Lucas, as reference being had thereto will more fully and at large
appear.  And the said Hines Holt and Polly Dixon , his wife, doth & will for
themselves and their heirs warrant and affirmed the right and title to the said
land and premises and every part thereof unto the said Henry Colquette his heirs
and assigns forever against the claim or claims of themselves, their heirs &
every other persons whatever.   In Witness whereof they have hereunto set their
hands and affixed their Seals,, the day and year above written.
