This Indenture made this Sixt [sic] day of December in the year of our Lord 
one Thousand Eight hundred between Isom Huckebee, of the County of Hancock and 
State of Georgia of the one part and Alexander Walker of the same County & 
State of the other part Witnesseth that the said Isom Huckebee for and [in] 
Consideration of the Sum of two hundred Dollars lawfull money to him in hand 
well and truly paid by the said Alexander Walker at or before the Signing and 
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is herby acknowledged have 
bargained and Sold released and Confirmed and by these presents do bargain 
Sell release and Confirm unto the said Alexander Walker his heirs and Assigns 
forever a certain tract or parcel of Land containing forty Six Acres be the 
same more or less being in the county of Hancock on Turky Creek the same being 
part of a Tract of land originally granted to John Newnham bounded S. West by 
Loftons land Westardly by Barron’s land Northwardly by Woods land, S.E. by 
Herrings land, begining at a poplar corner running N. 45 E. 20 Cha’s 46 links 
to a Stake Corner, on the Creek Thence up the meanders of sd. Creek to a pine 
corner, thence N. 11 W. 18 Cha’s 63 links to a Stake corner Thence N. 69 W. 8, 
50 links to a b. Jack corner Thence S. 45 W. 3 Cha’s 90 links to a Hickory 
corner, Thence S. 57 E. 3 cha. 92 links to a Sourwood corner, Thence S. 12 E. 
7 Cha’s to a Sasafras corner Thence S. 25 W. 13 Cha’s to a Red Oak corner, 
Thence S. 45 E. 27 Ch’s 63 links to the beginning poplar Corner.  Togather 
with all and Singular the rights members and appertenances thereunto belonging 
or in any wise appertaining to the said Tract or parcel of land and premices 
the said Alexander Walker his heirs and Assigns To have and to hold forever 
and the said Isom Huckebee doth for himself and Heirs the said tract of Land 
and premices to the said Alexander Walker his heirs and Assigns shall and will 
Warrant and forever defend, from himself his heirs & from all and every other 
person or persons Whatsoever.  In Witness whereof the said Isom Huckebee hath 
hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and year first above Written.
