This file was contributed by: Mary Ann Willoughby mawill@mindspring.com ==================================================================== Georgia: Hancock County: Indenture between Charles Medlock and Drury Dunn: Nov 12, 1808 Family History Library Film #222014 Deed Books K 1812-1814 Pages 103-104 This indenture made this the twelfth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight between Drury Dunn of the County of Hancock and State of Georgia of the one part and Charles Medlock of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Drury Dunn hath for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and by these present do bargain Sell and Confirm unto Charles Medlock all that tract and parcel of land lying and being in the County of Hancock containing ten acres for the same more or less .............. and bound by David Clark's land beginning at a pine corner thence to a pine Corner on Lodrick Rolling's land thence to a pine corner on said Rolling's land then to a .......... Oak corner on said Griggs line from thence along the said line to the beginning corner to have and to hold the said bargained land and premeses with all and singular rights members and ..........through and I the said Drury Dunn doth for myself my heirs and assigns for ever so ........and defend the said bargained land and premeses and against every person or persons whatsoever unto the said Charles Medlock and his heirs and assigns for ever in fee simple. And I the said Drury Dunn have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, the day and date first above written.
