State of Georgia
This Indenture made this Twenty-seventh day of January one thousand Eight 
hundred & one, between John Robinson of the County of Warren and State 
afforesaid [sic] of the one part, and James Huckabee of the other part.  
Witnesseth, that the said John Robinson hath bargained and Sold unto him the 
said James Huckabee a certain tract of land containing twenty three acres 
being more or less lying and being on the Waters of the Oconey River Joyning 
[sic] a Survey of said Robinson formerly purchased from James Harvey laid of
[f] in a Triangle other sides by Surveyed Land to have and to hold to him the 
said James Huckabie his heirs or assigns forever for the consideration of 
fourty dollars to me in hand paid before the Incealling [sic] or Delivery of 
these presents whose recait [sic] I do acknowlidge and do by these presents 
forever defend to him, from me, my heirs Executors administrators or assigns 
the above said twenty three acres from all other claim or demand whatsoever by 
any person or persons that shall or may lay any claim hereunto and Witness 
thereoff I have hereunto assigned my hand and fixed my seal as date above 
Written.
