This file was contributed by: Judith Tyson Raymond HRay581257@aol.com ==================================================================== Job Tyson Deed To Byrd Ferrell 22 April 1802 Register 6 November 1804 Book G, Page 123-124 This Indenture made this twenty second (sic) day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and two Between Job Tyson of the County of Hancock planter of the one part and Bird (sic) Ferrell of the County of Greene of the other part Witnesseth (sic) that the said Job Tyson for and in consideration of the sum of thirteen hundred Dollars to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Bird Ferrell, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained Sold aliened conveyed and delivered and by these Presents doth Grant bargain sell alien convey deliver and confirm unto the said Bird Ferrell and his Heirs forever all that tract or parcel of Land situated lying and being in the County of Hancock on the waters of Buffalow (sic) Creek in said County contains by estimation two hundred eighty Seven & an half acre be the same more or less Originally Granted to John Eady by Grant baring (sic) date on the fifteenth day of November in the year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and eighty five Beginning at a stake South Sixty East thirty chain to a post oak thence South thirty West twenty nine chains to a ask thence South Sixty East thirty chains to a pine thence South thirty West thirty five chains to a pine thence North Sixty West fifty nine chains to a pine thence North thirty East Sixty four chain to the Beginning Stake To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of Land with the rights members and appurtenances thereunto being belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the Said Bird Ferrell and his Heirs forever in fee Simple together with the rights members and appurtenances thereunto ^being or^ belonging unto him the said Bird Ferrell and his Heirs from the title claim or demand of all and every person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these present.
