Witnesseth the said James Wood for and in consideration of the Sum of two hundred Dollars lawfull money to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Isom Huckebee at or before the Signing and delivery of these presents, the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have Bargained Sold Released and Confirmed and by these do Bargain Sell Release and confirm, unto the said Isom Huckebee his heirs and Assigns forever, a certain Tract or parcell of Land containing Eighty one & a half Acres Situate lying and being in the county of Hancock and State Aforesaid on Turk Creek bounded S.W. by Van Loftons Land and on all other sides by vacant at the time of Surveying it being part of a Tract of one hundred Acres, land originally Granted to John Newnham the 24th of May 1793, beginning on a red oak corner on said Newnhams line and Running S 45 degrees E. to a poplar corner, Thence N. 45 E. to a L.W. State [should be Stake?] Corner 31 Ch. 63 links, Thence N. 45 W. to L.Wd. Stake Corner 31 Ch. 63 links Thence S. 45 W. to a Hickry Corner made for John Banon on sd. Newnhams old line Thence to the Beginning Red Oak Corner. Togather with all and Singular the Rights, members, and appertenances thereof with buildings Orchards Houses, Rents, Isues, profits advantages, to the said Isom Huckebee his Heirs and Assigns To have and to hold forever, and the said James Wood doth for himself his heirs &c. covenant and agree to and with the said Isom Huckabee his heirs & assigns to Warrant and forever defend the said Tract of land and premices from the just claims of the said James Wood his heirs & from all & every other person or persons.
