After the usual oath was administered to the different Officers, the Court was formed and Proceeded to business An Election was held for Clerk & Provost Marshall for said Regiment, & after receiving And counting out the ballots it appears that James H. Jones was duly Elected Clerk and Harris Brantley was duly Elected Provost Marshall. Ordered That the line dividing the 14th and 15th Regiments shall in future run and be established As folows ( to wit ) Leaving the old dividing line where it crosses the Savannah road just below Joshia Clauds, up the Savannah road to Sparta, through the center of Broad Street till it strikes the Center of Mitchell Street, then down the center of Mitchell Street till it strikes the road leading to Majr. Charles Abercrombie, then down that road till it intersects the old Regt. ( page 29) line including that part of the Muster Ground on the South East of said line--- the 14th Regt. Relinquish no men living on that part formely ceded of from choice they prefer mustering in said Regt. Henry Bryan Sargt. In Capt James Waller's Company being duly returned and called as a Delinquent for non attendance at a muster of Officers at Sparta on the 23th April last Was fined -------- $3.00 The following persons privates in Capt. Ordered That Majr. John Humphries be, and he is hereby discharged from Militia duty in this Regt. So long as he promise he will do duty in the 15th Regt. Oredered that the sum of twenty dollars be by the Paymaster paid unto Harris Brantley for Services rendered as Provost Mashall. Ordered that the sum thirty two dollars be, by the Paymaster paid unto James H.
