An Election was held for Clerk And Pro. Vo. Marshall to the 14 Regiment when James H. Jones was reelected Clerk and Edmund Harris was reelected Pro. Vo. Marshall. John Orear private in Capt. Harper’s Company being duly returned and call’d as a delinquent for failing to appear at the Regimental Muster held at Sparta on the 25th last was fined one dollar and fifty cents. $1.50 Robert McKee of Capt. Thweatt’s Company being duly returned and call’d as a delinquent for failing to appear at the Regimental Muster held at Sparta on the 25th last was fined two dollars.----$2.00 Andrew Hodges of Capt. Hart’s Company being duly returned and call’d as a delinquent for failing to appear at the Regimental Muster held at Sparta on the 25th last was fined one dollar.-----$1.00 ( page 62 ) Ordered That the order made on the 31st day of May 1805 for the discharge of Richard W. Motley from doing Military duty, be and the same is hereby revoked and that the said Richard W. Motley be from henceforth as liable to Military duty as if he had never been discharged. Lewis Adams of Capt Newsom’s Company being duly returned and called as a delinquent for failing to appear at the Regimental Muster held at Sparta on the 25th last was fined one dollar----$1.00 Edward A. Souland of Capt. Harris Company being duly returned and call’d as a delinquent for failing to appear at the regimental Muster at Sparta on the 25th last was fined two dollars-----$2.00 Capt. John B. Simmons produced a list of fines assessed in his Company up to the present time amounting to twelve dollars---$12.00 Capt. Kinchin P. Thweatt—produced a list of fines assessed in his Company since the last Regimental Court of Enquiry amounting to three dollars------$3.00 ( page 63 ) Capt. John Hart produced a list of fines assessed in his company since the last Regimental Court of Enquiry amounting to four dollars--- ---$4.00. Ordered That Mills Minton of the 106th district G. M. be and he is hereby discharged from doing military duty on account of a rupture in his groin which renders him incapable of doing the same. Ordered That Hyram Brown of the 110th district company of the militia of Georgia, be discharged from doing military duty until the setting of the next Regimental Court of Inquiry. Ordered That David Dean of the 102nd district of Georgia Militia be and he is hereby discharged from doing military duty until the setting of the next Regimental Court of Enquiry. Ordered That Shadrock Bryley of the 101st District of Georgia militia be and he is hereby discharged from doing military duty until the setting of the next Regimental Court of Enquiry. Marshall- The usual Oath being administered to the different officers, the court was formed and proceeded to business. Hiram Peek of Capt Harts Company being duly returned and called as a delinquent for failing to appear at the Regimental Muster at Sparta on the 5th last was fined two dollars------$2.00 ( page 66 ) The following persons of Capt. Joseph Boren Company being duly returned and called as delinquents for failing to appear at the Regimental Muster held at Sparta on the 5th last was fined the several sums annexed to their manes. Gabriel Moss------------$ 2.00 William C. Barksdale-- 1.00 John Trammel----------- 2.00 The following persons of Capt. L. Harris’s Company being duly returned and call’d as delinquents for failing to appear at the Regimental Muster held at Sparta on the 5th last were fined in the Several Sums annexed to their names. Edward Souland fined $2.00 Jesse Collier--------------2.00 Ordered That John Steinbridge of the 101st district Company of Georgia Militia be, and he is hereby discharged from doing Military duty on account of a hurt in his hip, which rendered him incapable of performing the same. Ordered That Roderick Bosworth of the 102nd district be and he is hereby discharged from doing Military duty. Ordered That Willie Griggs of the 102nd district be, and he is hereby ( page 67 ) discharged from doing Military duty. Ordered That the fine of one dollar assessed against Joseph Shelton on the 23rd day of May 1812 be, and the same is hereby remitted. Ordered That Thomas Parmer of the 101 district Georgia Militia be, and he is hereby discharged from Military duty. Simmons Rifle Company, after examination was found incapable of Military Services in consequence of lameness of the right hip. It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. John McClellan a private in the 110th district, after examination; from general disability was found incapable of doing Military duty . It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Jesse Cannon a private in Capt. Robert Hill’s Company, from a dislocation of the knee is considered as incapable of performing Military Services, It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. Thompson Champion a private in Capt. Harris’s Company from a lameness in his left leg is considered as incapable of performing Military Services. It is Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Adam P. Lindsey a private in Capt. Robert Hill’s district, from a dislocation of the thigh & ankle is rendered incapable of performing Military Services. Newsom’s district after examination was found to be over the age of 45 years It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged from Military Services. Thomas Palmer a private in Capt. Benjamin J. Harper’s Company after examination was found from a rupture in the groin, incapable of performing Military Services, it is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Henry Brown a private in the 102nd district on examination was, from a stiffness in the left elbow found incapable of performing Military Services It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. Wiley Griggs a private in Capt. Robert Hill’s Company on examination was found, from a dislocation of the left shoulder, incapable of performing Military Services, It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Newsom’s Company on examination was found from a rupture in the groin, incapable of performing Military Services It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. John Horn a private in Capt. Joseph Boren’s Company on examination was found, from gen. Disability incapable of performing Military Services It is therefore ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Nelson Clayton a private in Capt. Benjamin I. Harper’s Company on examination was found from a dislocation of the left shoulder incapable of performing Military Services, It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. Major Chappell Sledge appeared and after being duly qualified took his seat as a member of the Court. William Mills a private in Capt. Boren’s Company on examination was found, from general disability, incapable of performing Military duty. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Robert Ridley of Capt. Harris’s district on examination was found, from general disability, incapable of performing Military Services: It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. Green Mitchell a private in Capt. Harper’s Company on examination was found from, near blindness, incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Harper’s Company on examination was found, from a rupture in his groin, incapable of performing Military Service It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Robert Lett a private of Capt. Boren’s Company on examination was found, from lameness of the left knee, incapable of performing Military Services. It is Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. Jesse Edwards a private of Capt. Boren’s Company on examination was found, from a rupture in the groin, to be incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. George T. Jamison of the 102 district on examination was found, from a dislocation of the left knee, incapable of performing Military duty. It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. James Brewer a private of Capt. Boren’s Company on examination was found, from Rheumatism rendered incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. George Amos a private of Capt. Harper’s Company on examination was found, from a rupture in his groin, incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. William Callaway a private in Capt. Newsom’s Company ( page 74 ) There isn’t a page 74 ( page 75 ) On examination was found, from general disability incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Davis Carter a private of Capt. Newsom’s Company on an inquiry into his situation found him from a weakness in the knee, incapable of performing Military Services. It is Ordered that he be discharged. John Wray a private in Capt. Benjamin Harper’s Company, on examination is found to be over the age of 45 years, he is therefore discharged from Military Services. Wm. Caldwell a private in Capt. Thos. Colquitt’s District being over the age of 45 is discharged from Military Services. James Crowder of Capt. Harris’s Company on examination was found, from lameness in the left leg, incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged according. Mills Minton a private in Capt. Harris’s Company on examination was found, from a rupture in his groin, incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Abijah Anderson of the 102 district on examination was found, from lameness of the right leg, incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. John Steinbridge of Capt. Harper’s district on examination was found, from the loss of the use of his right ( page 76 ) fore finger and dislocation of one hip & shoulder, incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. James Jones of Capt. Hill’s Company, on inquiry into his situation was found to be incapable of performing Military duty. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged according. James Mathews of Capt. Harris Company on inquiry into his situation was found from lameness to be incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Nathan S. S. Beman a private of Capt. Boren’s district on examination is found from general disability incapable of performing Military Services It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly. Elijah Reynolds a private in Capt. Hill’s Company, on inquiry into his situation was from a fistula in. and, incapable of performing Military Services. It is Ordered That he be discharged accordingly. ( page 78 ) Frederick G. Thomas a private in Capt. Boren’s Company, after examination was found, from having had the White Swelling, to be incapable of performing Military Services. It is therefore Ordered that he be discharged accordingly.
