Tuttle Hudson Audas (1795 – 1868)

Death of T. H. Audas – A correspondent informs us of the death, on the
night of the 29th inst., in Sparta, of T. H. Audas, one of the oldest
and most respected citizens of Hancock county, in his 73rd year, after
an illness of only a few hours.  His disease was congestion of the
brain.  The deceased was for over thirty years in the Clerk’s office of
the Courts of Hancock.  He was universally esteemed by the people o
Hancock as a man of great integrity and honor, and as a thorough Christian
gentleman.
