Mr.J. P. HARPER Died in Macon Wednesday
Wednesday morning Mr. J. P. HARPER, Fther of Mrs. J.  H. ENNIS of this city, 
died at his home in Macon after a short illness. He was 60 years of age and 
well known here and throughout this section of Georgia. Capt. ENNIS went over 
immediately on receipt of intelligence of his death, joining Mr.s ENNIS there. 
The funeral occured in Deveraux. The entire community joins in extending 
sympathy to the family.

Additional Comments:
Although the obituary says J. P. HARPER- It was actually A. P. HARPER-Alfred 
Presley HARPER. Mrs. ENNIS- was his daughter. Captain Ennis was his son  in  
law.
