Mrs. Knowles, wife of Mr. Rice P. Knowles of Hancock county, borne down by the 
weight of ninety four long years ended her earthly pilgrimage on July 9, 
1870.  She leaves her husband with whom she has lived seventy years, as a good 
and gentle wife.  Mr. K. is ninety four or ninety five years old, and has many 
grandchildren, some forty years of age.
