Atlanta Constitution, August 31, 1903
Sparta, Ga., August 30.- (Special) - Mrs. Mary Moore, wife of Gordon Moore, a 
planter and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Jones, of Culverton, died at her 
home, 5 miles west of Sparta, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The funeral will 
occur today and the interment will be in the family burial ground in Culverton. 
Mrs. Moore was about thirty years of age, and her life was an example of 
devotion to duty.
