Dated Oct. 10, 1867 Proven Feb. 19, 1868 In the name of God Amen, I Thomas Dudley being of sound disposing mind and memory but certainly soon expecting to be called from time to eternity, do make, ordain and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking all others by me made. Item the 1st I desire all my just debts be paid without unnecessary delay. Item 2nd. I desire to my daughter Josephine a good but not too expensive horse, bridle and saddle to be paid for out of my estate. Item 3rd. I do hereby bequeath to my beloved wife, Thenie, my sons Robert L. and Charles & to my daughter, Josephine, the tract of land whereon I now reside, together with all my stock of horses, mules, cattle, hogs, & farming implements, household furniture, rights and credits to their own proper use and benefit, only burdened with the payment of my debts and the legate set fourth in Item the 2nd. I nominate and appoint my beloved wife Thenie Dudley executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand & seal this 10th day of October 1867.
