He married Nancy Winfield Pruitt in Putnam Co. GA. They later moved to Talbot Co. GA and eventually to Pike Co. AL. William and Nancy both died in 1873 in Bullock Co. AL. Their children were: Elizabeth Ann, Irmy Jackson, James William, Virginia Caroline, Louisiana Winfield, Susan Bourland & Thomas Moses. Susannah Boswell's will is posted at Jones Co. GA site.
