I lend to my beloved wife Grace Halley my whole estate during her life or widowhood, or until my youngest child William Halley reaches age 21, at which time all my property that remains (after my three children are raised and reasonably educated n the English language) shall be sold by my executors and dqually divided between my wife (should she continue to be my widow) and my three children John Halley, Elizabeth Emerson Halley and William Halley. Note: Grace Halley was the daughter of Matthew Durham and Fanny Elizabeth Spencer. William Spencer and Thomas Spencer named were her uncles.
