I, Martha Kelly, being of sound and disposing mind and memory but of advanced age do make and publish this writing as my last will & testament. 1st I desire my body decently buried in Christian like manner. 2nd Should I owe anything I wish it promptly paid. 3rd I give to each of my daughters Mrs. Lizzie Dickson and Mrs. Rebecca Dickson one hundred dollars and one feather bed. 4th I give to my daughter Mrs. Amanda Harrison that tract of land owned by me known as part of the Garrett Land junction of Brently subject to a charge of two hundred dollars to pay the money legacies left Mrs. Lizzie Dickson and Mrs. Rebecca Dickson in the 3 rd item of this will. 5th I give all the rest and residual of my property of every description to my daughter Mrs. Amanda Harrison. 6th I nominate my friend Rev. Binion as executor of this my will. L Reese , Ordinary said County The petition of Mrs. Amanda Harrison shows that Mrs. Martha Kelly late of said county, departed this life on the 4th day of March 1898, after having made her last Will and Testament , N.B. Binion is nominated the executor and that the said N.B. Binion is dead. Petitioner produces said will in court , and prays that the same may be admitted to record upon the proof thereof in common form, and that letters of administration issue to her in terms of the law and that your petitioner is one of the heirs of Martha Kelly deceased. and your petitioner will ever pray, etc. Amanda Harrison Petitioner. by Hunt & Merritt, her attorneys at law xxxxx-xxxx Hancock County of Ordinary, April 4th 1898 The foregoing petition of Amanda Harrison , heir at Law executor for letters of administration with all annexed of the last alleged will of Martha Kelly deceased , having duly filed said alleged will, and the same having been supported by proper proof J.W. Moore & W.F. Brinkly subscribing witness to the said alleged will of Martha Kelly deceased, as shown in affidavit of probate attached to said alleged will.
