I Euclid Langford of the County of Hancock and State of Georgia being in a weak and low state of bodily health, but of sound mind and memory do make and execute the following to be my last Will & Testament revoking all others hitherto made. First I do give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth the tract of land or plantation whereon I now reside, my three negroes Pate, Sall & Aig[?], together with all the farming utensils, Household and Kitchen furniture, with all the stock of every description (except what is hereafter especially devised) to be and remain hers during her widowhood. Item I do give and bequeath unto my son Nicholas Langford, my young Bay mare and the use of my two stills, with the still-house tubs &c [etc.] on the following conditions (viz) that he assist in collecting and paying off all my just debts & if necessary to employ the said stills for that purpose until the said debts are all discharged and he thinks proper to remain with his mother or use the said stills where they now are, or until my said wife Elizabeth either marries or dies. Item It is my will that my son Henry be kept at school the present year, that my son George have one full years schooling, and that my son Robert have two years schooling, to be paid out of the profits arising from the crops. Item It is my will that at the marriage or death of my said wife, that each of my four youngest sons (to wit) Edmund, Henry, George and Robert, have a Horse of the value of one hundred dollars. Lastly At the death or marriage of my said wife, I do direct that all the remaining estate both real & personal be equally divided between my six children John, Nicholas, Edmund, Henry, George and Robert, or in case of the death of either of them without issue, the Estate to be equally divided into as many distribution shares as there may be survivors. I do constitute my son Nicholas, my friends Frederick Gibble Thomas and Joseph Bryan my Executors to carry this my last will into full effect. In Witness whereof I have hereunto signed, sealed and acknowledged this twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and ten. his Euclid x Langford (L.S.) Mark In presence of J.
