The seventh day of July one thousand eighteen hundred and one I Ephraim Moore of Hancock County in the State of Georgia, Being in a very weak and low state of body yet of perfect Mind and memory thanks be given unto God for the same Therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body Knowing that it is appointed for man once to die so Make and ordain this my last will and testament in Manner and form following - - - - - - I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Nancy Moore That tract of land whereon I live, during her Natural life to belong to her and her heirs forever. Item. Igive and bequeath to my son William a Tract of land lying on the Montplier Road, con = = taining three hundred Acres, be the same more or less, To him his heirs and assigns forever. - - - - - - - - Item. I give to my beloved wife the above mentioned Tract of land containing three hundred Acres to belong To her during her widowhood or till my son William Becomes of age. Also I give and bequeathto my son William one negroe boy called Will to belong to him And his heirs or assigns forever. - - - - - - - - - Item. I give and bequeath to my son Neubil one negroe Man called Pompey to belong to him and his heirs and Assigns forever. Also it is my desire that my son Neubil Should be bound an apprentice to Thomas Taylor pro = Vise he will endeavour to learn him the house car = Penters trade. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Item. I give and bequeath to my son Levin and A child which my wife is now pregnant with all The increase of a negroe woman called Clo, that is To say her increase from the present date, to belong To them and their heirs and assigns forever.
