In the name of God Amen I Sarah Simmons of the State of Georgia and County of 
Hancock being in good health and sound memory do make this my last will and 
testament in manner and form following Viz.

Item 1st  I give to my son Jame Simmons one negro by the name Raney to him and 
his heirs forever.

    Secondly  I give to my son Benjamin Simmons one negro by the name Daniel to 
him and to his heirs forever.

    Thirdly I give to my son Jesse Simmons one negro by the name Juno to him and 
 to his heirs forever.

    Fourthly I give to my son John B. Simmons two negroes by the names of Ted 
and Lucy and one horse Rawley by name and one feather bed and furniture two 
horses the black and the Bay horse by the name of Jolly likewise the balance of 
the stock of all kinds that I have in my possession, the still, one pair of cart 
wheels, the house and kitchen furniture and the plantation tools of all kinds to 
him and his heirs forever.
My will is that my son James Simmons and Benj Simmons be my Executors of this my 
last will and testament. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and affixed 
my seal this first of June in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifteen

Sarah was the widow of Benjamin Simmons Snr.
She made her will in 1815. It was proved in court 2 July of 1821
