Harrison is first seen in Haralson County in the 1895 Tax Digest. He married Lela/Leila Felker Ray Harrison. Lela Felker was previously married to a John W. Ray in Fulton County, GA. It is unknown what happened to him. It also appears that she had 2 children with John W. Ray: Eugene Wiley Ray Harrison and Bernard Allen Ray Harrison. George and Lela had Edward Liddell, Mamie Mae, Glenn Richard, George Franklin, Swillie Everett, Chester Horace, Nannie Lorena and possibly Tessa Harrison. George Harrison is the son of Richard Russell and Harriett O'Toole Harrison. George had 9 siblings. None of George's siblings or parents were residence of Haralson County. George did have a cousin, John Weathersbee Harrison, that was living in Haralson County as a salesperson in a dry goods store in Bremen, GA. Tessa Harrison is buried in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery and was born 1910 and died in 1911. It is not known who were parents were. The only Harrison's in the location of her burial at the time of her death is George and John Harrison. It is not known what brought George and Lela to Haralson County, Georgia. It is also not known when they were married or where they were married.
