TWO GIRLS, MAN DIE IN ACCIDENT

Tallapoosa, Ga.

Three persons were killed and a fourth was seriously injured as their 
automobile collided with a truck here early Saturday. The dead were listed as 
Newton Cole, Miss Nebunia Dean and Miss Emma Schandera, all of Tallapoosa.

Police Chief Carter Paris said that Marshall Buttram also in the car was at 
home in critical condition. Tallapoosa is a short distance from the Alabama 
line. The truck was headed east, loaded with piping and was well equipped with 
tail lights, police said.
