From Mr. John W. Tomlinson of Haralson county, we learn that the wife of 
George Goggin, living near Buchanan in that county, committed suicide on the 
night of the 13th inst. by hanging herself. Mr. Goggin missed her just before 
day and getting up and kindling a fire, the appalling sight met his eyes of 
her hanging from one of the joists of the room. She had not been regarded in 
her right mind for some time. Mrs. Goggin was 45 years of age and has three 
grown children.
