LAWLER RITES HELD

U.G. Lawler, age 65 of Tallapoosa, Ga., passed away Sunday afternoon at a 
local infirmary. Surviving are his widow, one son, C.J. Lawler of 
Birmingham; one daughter Miss Rosie Pearl Lawler of Tallapoosa; a 
step-daughter Miss Geraldine Fuller of Tallapoosa; two brothers, L.E. Lawler 
of Atlanta and Cicero Lawler of Fort Payne, Ala., one sister Mrs. Ethel 
Mauldin of Lubbock, Tex., and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held 
at the First Baptist church at 3:30 p.m. last Tuesday at Tallapoosa.
