DEATHS

POUNDS

Last rites were held Sunday afternoon for Mrs. A.A. Pounds, age 84, who died 
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. W. Wager on Friday, July 9. Services 
were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist church in Tallapoosa, Ga. with 
the Rev. R.B. Hawkins, pastor of the Tallapoosa Methodist church and the 
Rev. J.E. Brasher of the Heflin Methodist church officiating. Interment was 
in the church cemetery.

The deceased is survived by three sons; R.F. of Detroit, Mich., H.B. of 
Gadsden; H.K. of College Park, Ga., three daughters, Mrs. F.O. Bishop of 
Atlanta; Mrs. G.W. Wager and Miss Grace Pounds of Heflin.
