The Tallapoosa Journal
Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Marie Smith, 62, of Smith Road, Bremen, passed away on 
Oct 28, 2008.  Mrs. Smith was born on March 25, 1946 in Cleburn County, Ala, the
daughter of the late Carl Turner and Essie Mae Angel Turner.  

A retired seamstress of the Arrow Company and a member of the District Line 
United Methodist Church.  

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Smith of Bremen; daughter and son-in-law, 
Lynn and John Bush of Bremen; sisters, Velma Parrott of Rockmart and Bernice 
Williams of Ranburne, Ala; and two grandchildren, Kyle Bush and Ty Bush of 
Bremen.  

The family will receive friends on Friday between the hours of 1 and 2 p.m. at 
the funeral home.  

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m, Friday, Oct 31, at the Chapel of 
Hightower Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Rush officiating.

In accordance with the wishes of the family, the body was cremated.  

Please omit flowers and those desiring to do so may make donations to District 
Line Methodist Church.
