Know all men by these presents that I Waters B. Dunn of the County of Harris 
and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the love and affection which I 
have for my wife Mary A. I. Dunn and my children of the County of Harris and 
State above mentioned as well as for the sum of five dollars to me in hand paid 
by Mary A. I. Dunn at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.  I do hereby give grant and convey and 
by these presents, do give grant and convey unto the said Mary A. I. Dunn and 
my children the following named property to wit:  the following described land 
lying in the 2nd District of originally Troup now Harris County N. W. ½ of the 
N. W. ½ of lot (46) also south half of lot (51) and horse and stock cattle and 
my appertainances to have and to hold the said property for following uses and 
conditions viz. for the support and maintenance of the said Mary A. I. Dunn and 
my children but in know wise to be subject to the debts of the said Mary I. 
Dunn and my children or any contract that they may hereafter make or any they 
heretofore contracted but to be held by me in trust as aforesaid for the 
support and maintenance of the said Mary A. I. Dunn and my children, my 
property to be kept all together until my youngest child is of age and then 
divided equally among my wife Mary A. I. Dunn and my children & at the death of 
the said Mary A. I. Dunn her part of my property to be equally divided among my 
children.  I the said Waters B. Dunn have hereunto set my hand and affixed my 
seal this 5th day of June eighteen hundred and sixty six.
