DuBose Period: For 3 years or during the war Last Paid: By Whom Capt. Bahnson To what time April 30, 1863 Present or Absent Absent Rremarks: Left at Gettysburg, Penn., as nurse for wounded. * This company was organized in Sept 1861, for one year, as Capt. DuBose's Company, Ga. Vols. Upon the organization of the 2d Battn. NC Inf, in Nov 1861, it was assigned to that battn as Co. E. In May 1862, the company was re-orgainzed for the war. It was transferred to the 60th Regt. Ga. Inf. by S.O. # 84, A.& I.G.O., dated Apr 11, 1864 and became (New) Company A of that regt. Thomas J. Wills, Pvt, Co. E, 2 Battn NC Inf. Appears on Company Muster Roll for Jan & Feb 1864. Remarks: Prisoner in hands of the enemy. Thos. J. Wills, The Anthony Greus (Capt. John J. Tucker) Roll not dated Remarks: Names marked with x had been in Confederate Service eight months at the time. Wills was so marked.
