Parrott After an illness of ten or twelve days, Mrs. L.W. Parrott died at her home in Waverly Hall about three o’clock last Saturday morning. While she was quite sick for several days previous to her death, her friends and relatives did not realize that her condition was critical. Mrs. Parrott was the wife of Rev. L.W. Parrott, who lived in Talbotton for several years and was the pastor of the Baptist church here. She had a great many friends in Talbotton who were grieved to learn of her death. She leaves a husband and three children to mourn her loss. The funeral services were held on Sunday morning and were conducted by Rev. Tom Stewart of Waverly Hall. The interment took place at Mount Zion Cemetery near Waverly Hall. *Note – There is an article written about Mrs. Parrott in the June 1, 1905, issue of the New Era on page 3.
