Miss Pitts was well known in Talbotton and Talbot County and the news of her sad death was received with much regret. She was only seventeen years of age, and it was particularly sad that one so young in years, full of the joy of life, should be called to another world. She was a young lady of charming manner and numbered her friends by the score. She is survived by her parents, one sister and one brother. The funeral took place on Friday and was largely attended. Mr. and Mrs. Pitts and family have the sincere sympathy of their many friends in Talbotton and Talbot County in their deep sorrow.
