Will of Henry Kimbrough 24 Nov 1882 Harris County, GA The Will of Henry Chambers Kimbrough Harris Co., GA, WB 3, p. 56 (copied at Harris County, GA, courthouse) In the name of God Amen. I Henry C. Kimbrough of the County of Harris and State of Georgia, being of advanced age, but still of sound and disposing mind and memory and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while a kind and indulgent providence has given me strength to do so make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made. First, I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner, suitable to my circumstances and condition in life, my soul I trust shall return to rest, through the cycles of Eternity, to that God who gave it as I hope for Salvation through the merits of his Crucified Son, whom I have [illegible] to serve for [blank space] years. 2nd. I desire & direct that all my just debts be paid, as soon as practicable by my Executor herein after named and appointed. Thirdly. Having made, heretofore, disposition of all my other property I hereby give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Mrs. S. A. Cowsert, if in life and if not, then to her children, a two third interest in the stock of goods, wares and merchandise owned by me, also two third interest in notes, mortgages, accounts [illegible] in action & arising from the sale of goods in said store. Fourthly. I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Mrs. M. C. Kimbrough, wife of M. B. Kimbrough, the remaining one third interest in and to the property herintofore mentioned in Article third, upon like terms as the two third interest therein mentioned as given to my daughter Mrs. S. A. Cowsert. Fifthly. I hereby constitute and appoint my son B. C. Kimbrough Executor of this my last will and Testament, This 24th day of November 1882. H. C.
