Will of Jesse Kimbrough 22 Oct 1851 Harris County, GA The Will of Jesse S. Kimbrough Harris County, Georgia, Will Book 2, page 166 (This is transcribed exactly as it appears in the will book.) Georgia Harris County The last will and testament of Jesse S. Kimbroug [sic] made this 22nd day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred fifty one being feeble in body but sound in mind 1. I will my Soul to Almighty God who gave it. 2. I will that all my just debts first be paid my body after death that my body shall be decently buried. 3. I will that all my just debts first be paid. 4. I will that Martha and her two children and Amanda woman be sold for the benefit of my wife and children mine 5. I will that my lands estate and all of my Negroes to my beloved wife and her children and mine to wit Virginia Thomas H Jesse Frances Kimbrough her children & mind [sic] & all of the stock of all kinds also all my plantation tools also all of my house hold and kitchen furniture to be all kept to gether, all all of her children and mine raised and kept together. I give to my beloved Frances A. Kimbrough my new carriage and my daughter Virginia my watch and I give Thomas H. Kimbrough my son my buggey. I give to my son Jesse F. Kimbrough my riffle gun. I further will that should my beloved wife Frances A. marry after my deceased [sic] I will her four hundred acres of land including the buildings and an equal share with my children of all my other property with the exception of the [one word - illegible] of my lands which said to be equally [one word - illegible] with his children. McGehee & Thomas P. Par(k?) witnesseth the same together with him self in the presence of each other and the said Jesse was of sound disposing mind and memory at the time of signing the same.
