T. Woodard deceased recorded. State of Georgia { Harris County { In the name of God Amen I L. T. Woodard of said State & county being of advanced age and afflicted with disease but of sound mind & memory knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right & proper both as respects my kindred & myself that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me. I do therefore make this my last will & testament. 1 item. I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like order manner. 2 item. I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executors hereinafter named & appointed. 3 item. I give bequeath and devise to my beloved sister Epsey D. Myhand widow of Jessee Myhand deceased one thousand dollars to her own proper use benefit and behoof forever with full power to dispose of the same by will or otherwise as she may deem proper. 4 item. I give bequeath and desire the remaining portion of my estate to my dear beloved brothers and sisters or unto the heirs of their bodies: Namely Felix D. Woodard, Malinda T. Deen deceased her heirs, Martha M. Thornton deceased her heirs, and James M. Woodard to their own proper use and benefit. I hereby constitute & appoint my friend Gustavus A. Myhand Executor of this my last will and testament. This May the 6th 1867 L. T. Woodard {L S } Signed, Sealed declared and published by L. T. Woodard as his last will & testament in the presence of the under signed who subscribed our names hereto in the presence of said Testator at his special instance and request and in the presence of each other. This May the 6th 1867 R. E. Collins H. M. Higginbothom F. Cumming Parker Georgia Harris County. I do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will of the within named Littleberry T. Woodard deceased so far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly execute the same in accordance with the laws of this state so help me God. Sworn to & subscribed before me June 3rd 1867 Geo. W. Mullens Ordinary G. A. Myhand Georgia { Harris County { Court of Ordinary June Term 1867 Personally appeared in open court Gustavus A. Myhand Executor, appointed in a paper purporting to be the last will and Testament of Littleberry T. Woodard deceased late of said county as the Executor of said deceased and produced said paper writing and also personally came R. E. Collins and F. Cumming Parker two of the subscribing witnesses to said paper writing who being duly sworn deposeth and saith they saw the said Littleberry T. Woodard sign, seal, declare and publish the said paper writing now presented in open court as his last will and Testament freely and of his own accord without any compulsion or undue influence whatever-that at the time of the execution of said will said Testator was of sound disposing mind and memory-that deponents signed said will as witnesses in the presence of the Testator and at his request in the presence of other witnesses and in the presence of each other and that they saw H.
