Crawford a Hart County ] resident of said county who is the head of a family of said county who is the head of a family consisting of his wife Martha F. Crawford about 35 years old and her Seven minor children to Wit: Sarilla F. about 15 years old George L. about 13 years old. Sarah F. about 11 years old. W. C. about 9 years old Martha F. about 7 years old. Jas. A. about 4 years old. and Nettie A. Crawford about 6 months old. Claims to be Exempt from levy and sale under Section 2040 of Code of 1878 and amendments thereto Claims the following Schedule of property out of his property for the benefit of his wife and children above named. This Oct. 20th 1885 W. J. Crawford One farm horse or mule. One cow and calf. Ten head of hogs. Eighty five dollars worth of provisions two feather beds & 4 Straw beds. 4 bedsteads & bedding one loom. one Spinning wheel. Two pair cards. And one hundred pounds of lint-cotton one lot of plantation tools. Utensils of trade of himself and his wife. One lot of cooking utensils. One eat-table crockery. Wearing apparel of himself and family. One family Bible and a lot (page116) of religious works and school books. Family portraits. One sewing machine. Fifty bushels of corn. One thousand pounds of fodder. One one horse wagon. One table. One set of chairs. One trunk. One chest. One cupboard. One clothes press two wash tubs. One wash pot. One lot jugs. Jars & tin ware two water buckets. And one looking glass. Filed in office appeared and Recorded this Oct. 20th 1885 F. C. Stephenson Ordinary Additional Comments: William John Crawford was born Oct. 30th 1850, died march 21st, 1922. His father was William H. Crawford, and his mother was Sarah Ann Dooley Crawford. Sarah Ann Dooley Crawford died February 2nd, 1893 and is buried at Cokesbury Baptist Church Cemetery in Hart County, Ga. Sarah Ann (Katie) Crawford Dunn daughter of William H. and Sarah Ann Crawford was born Dec. 9th, 1846 and died July 25th, 1912, and is buried at Cokesbury Church Baptist Cemetery.
