Indenture between William Ray & Zachariah Evans 06 Dec 1862 Hart Co, GA


DEED - Wm. C. Ray to Zachariah Evans

Georgia		:    This Indenture made this 6th day of December in 
Hart County	:    the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and sixty two
between Wm. C. Ray of the county of Hart of the one part; and Zachariah
Evans of the said county of Hart of the second part - and Witnesseth that
the said Wm. C. Ray for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand
dollars to him in hand paid by the said Zachariah Evans the receipt thereof
is hereby acknowledged does by these presents give, grant, bargain, sell,
and convey unto the said Zachariah Evans his heirs and assigns a certain
lot of land lying in the county of Hart and State of Georgia known in the
plat annexed of said county. Together with all the privileges thereto in
any wise as pertaining. To have and to hold the above granted premises to
the said Zachariah Evans his heirs and assigns in Fee Simple. And the said
Wm. C. Ray will and his heirs executors and administrators shall the said
property to the said Zachariah Evans his heirs executors and administrators
forever warrant and defend against the lawful demands of all persons
whatever in _______(unreadable) whereof the said Wm. C. Ray has hereunto
set his hand and seal this day and year above written.
