Atlanta Constitution, 13 Jan 1903 
Hartwell, Ga., January 12 - Jim Rolin Brown, a prominent  farmer and 
influential citizen of Hart County, died at  his home yesterday. 

Additional Comments:
Hart Co. cemetery records show James Roland Brown, born 26 May 1855, died 10 
Jan 1903, and Elva Harriett Brown, born 6 Jun 1861, died 4 Feb 1938, both 
buried at Bethany Baptist Church, Hart Co. Hart Co. marriage records show J. 
R. Brown and Elva Owens were married on 24 Nov 1889. Census records show their 
children to be Mary E., Annie B., Paul D., Sallie E., Pennick A., Lucy and 
Willie C. Brown.
