Atlanta Constitution, 31 Dec 1915 
Hartwell, Ga., December 30 - Mrs. Janie Brown, the wife of Stanley J. Brown, 
who died suddenly with a kidney affection, was buried here. Mrs. Brown was the 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Webb, and was one of the popular matrons of 
Hartwell. She was 25 years of age, and her death was unexpected. She leaves a 
daughter six years old, besides her husband. Mr. Charles McEwen, of Atlanta, 
was a sister. 

Additional Comments:
Hart Co. marriage records show Stanley J. Brown and Janette Webb were married 
on 13 Feb 1908. Hart Co. cemetery records show Janie Webb Brown, born 2 May 
1890, died 27 Dec 1915, buried Northview cemetery, Hartwell.
