Atlanta Constitution, 13 Mar 1922 
According to news received here, Mrs. L. C. Brown, aged 73, the mother of L.S. 
Brown of 503 Bass St., died Sunday at the home in Hartwell, Ga. Mrs. Brown had 
lived at Hartwell the greater part of her life. She is survived by her 
husband, L. C.Brown, four sons, W. B. Brown of Decatur, Texas; O. C. Brown of 
Jerico, Texas; E. C. Brown of Amarillo, Texas; and L. S. Brown of Atlanta; two 
daughters, Miss Bertha Brown and Mrs. Texie Cellars of Hartwell. 

Additional Comments:
Hart  Co. cemetery records show Victoria Bowers Brown, born 5 Jun 1849, died 
12 Mar 1922, wife of L.C., married 13 Feb 1866, buried Northview cemetery, 
Hartwell.
