Atlanta Constitution, 26 Nov 1913 
Hartwell, Ga., November 25 - R. T. Buffington, one of Hart county's prominent 
farmers, died Sunday. He was buried Monday at Cedar Creek Baptist church. He 
was about 80 years old. W. Y. Buffington, his son, survives. 

Additional Comments:
Hart Co. cemetery book shows R. T. Buffington, born 21 Mar 1839, died 23 Nov 
1913, buried Cedar Creek Baptist Church, and Mrs. M. L. Buffington, wife of 
R.T., born 14 Sep 1841, died 2 Jul 1875, buried Cokesbury Methodist church 
cemetery. Hart Co. marriage records show Reubin T. Buffington and Mary L. 
Hunter were married 28 May 1873.
