Formerly of Hart County, she was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Petersburg, Va. She was a daughter of Mr. Mahlon McCurley and the late Mrs. Mary Evans McCurley of Hartwell. Survivors include her father; husband, Paul B. Noble of Petersburg, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Judy Batson of Selma, N. C.; two sons, Gary Barton and Toby Barton, both of Greenville, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Jane Wilhite of Elberton; eight grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted from the chapel of J. T. Morris and Son Funeral Home in Petersburg, Va. on Saturday. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Va. J. T. Morris and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
