Mrs. A. P. Hanie Dies In Atlanta Hospital; Citizen of Hartwell.

Hartwell, Ga., March 13-
Mrs. A. P. Hanie, wife of Dr. A. P. Hanie, died yesterday afternoon at a 
private sanitarium in Atlanta.
Besides her husband she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. A. E. Campbell, of 
Lake Wales, Fla,; Mrs. John Douthitt, Raleigh, N. C., and Mrs. Claude E. 
Herndon, of Hartwell; sister-in-law, Mrs. Irene Judd, of Sanford, N. C., and 
nephew Claude J. Herndon, of Hartwell.
Mrs. Hanie was a member of the Hartwell Baptist church, prominent in Woman's 
Missionary society of that church, of which she was formerly president.  For 20 
years she taught the Matrons' class in the Sunday school.  She was also a 
member of the Benson chapter of the U. D. C.  She was a very valued and honored 
citizen of Hartwell.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of H. M. Patterson & Son, in Acworth, and 
will be announced later.
