Atlanta Constitution, 15 Apr 1925 
Hartwell, Ga., April 14 - William Y. Holland, 76 , prominent citizen, 
Confederate soldier, died here yesterday afternoon. Surviving him are his 
widow, Mrs. Mollie Bradley Holland and the following children: Mrs. Emory F. 
Satterfield, William E. Holland, Robert E. Holland, Alton B. Holland and Miss 
Mary Holland, all of Hartwell; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Irvin, Antreville, 
S.C., Mrs. Lillie Sitton, Rock Hill, S.C., and Mrs. Ida Anderson, Atlanta. 
Funeral services were held at the home this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment 
at the Hartwell cemetery. 

Additional Comments:
Hart Co. marriage records show William Y. Holland and Mollie A.Bradley were 
married on 11 Dec 1872. Hart Co. cemetery book show William Y. Holland, born 
22 Nov 1848, died 13 Apr 1925, CSA, Co. H., 1st SC Regt, and Molly Bradley 
Holland, born 12 Mar 1853, died 2 Nov 1929.
