Obituary for Mr. Tony Keith Moon
Mr. Tony Keith Moon, 80, of Royston, GA passed away on Thursday, January 31, 
2019, at his home. 

Mr. Moon was born in Royston, GA on October 17, 1938, son of the late DuPree 
Moon and the late Willie Ruth Harris Moon. He was a supervisor having worked at 
Westinghouse; a member of the Royston Masonic Lodge and a member of First 
Baptist Church Hartwell. Mr. Moon was also a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Greg Moon; and 
sister, Myrian Moon.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Weaver Moon; daughters, Kim Moon (Marvin) 
Roach of Canon, GA, Tina Moon (Sebastien) Robolin of Winterville, GA, Tosha Moon 
(Mark) White of Hartwell, GA and Tara Moon (Reynold) Hartmann of Hartwell, GA; 
brother, Ronnie (Carol) Moon of Athens, GA; sister, Debra (Gerald) Carey of 
Royston, GA; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Moon will were held at the First Baptist Church 
Hartwell at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 3, 2019, with Dr. Danny Barton and Dr. 
Steve Albanese officiating. Interment followed in the Bethany Baptist Church 
Cemetery in Canon, GA. 

The family receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. 
on Saturday evening. The family is at the home.

Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Hartwell, 81 
East Howell Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.

Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
