MRS. MARY NEESE DIES AT HARTWELL HOME  - Hartwell, Ga., January 20 - Mrs. Mary 
Benson Neese, member of one of Hartwell's oldest and prominent families, 
passed away at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the residence on Benson 
street. Her husband and infant  daughter preceded her many years ago. She was 
the daughter of John Blassingame Benson, Hartwell's pioneer merchant, and she 
is survived by E. B. Benson, a brother, and two sisters, Mrs. A. G. McCurry 
and Mrs. S. W. Peek. 

Additional Comments:
Hart Co. marriage records show Linton Neese and Mary Benson were married on 20 
Jun 1894.
